Brent crude trading at 89.94/bbl

Crude oil prices on Thursday increased Rs8 to Rs7,086 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand. Globally, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil was down by 0.37 per cent at $85.07 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.21 per cent lower at $89.94 per barrel in New York. On MCX, crude oil for November delivery traded higher by Rs8 or 0.11 per cent at Rs7,086 per barrel in 4,691 lots.
